1929 Egypt Meidum Maidum Pyramid Huni Sneferu Desert - ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAVURE EG1 GRC3 Some of his many filmsThis is an original 1929 photogravure of the Meidum or Maidum Pyramid south of Cairo, Egypt. This pyramid was originally built for the Pharaoh Huni but was completed by his successor, Sneferu, (Snephru, Snefru or Snofru), who turned it from a step side pyramid to a smooth side pyramid by filling in the steps with limestone encasing. The outer layers of the pyramid began to collapse, leaving the exposed core showing. Because of its appearance, this
