Originally built in the mid 1800's this building is presented in it's third incarnation and location. The first time this building was erected, known as Mya Nan San Kyaw, it was under the rule of Burmese King Mindon in Amarapura, however, when King Thibaw ascended to the throne he ordered the building dismantled and rebuilt
