The higher the number, the finer the yarn. To spin such fine yarn you need high quality long staple cotton. This summer we decided to take our casual shirtings to a new level. We used extra fine yarn, often used on dress shirts, and wove a "featherweight" cloth. The Portofino ultra light, breathable
