Sourced from the Napanook Vineyards gravelly, alluvial soils, the 1999 is Cabernet dominant, fermented with meticulous temperature control and aged in largely used French oak to spotlight site over wood. Now fully in its prime, it shows dark currant and plum, olive tapenade, graphite, dried tobacco, and the savory herb mineral thread that defines classic
