2024 Clos Bateau, 'Jou Jou', (Beaujolais) Vin de France Pierre Peters began producing Chardonnays alongside hisClos Bateau was started in 2019 by Dutch expats Sylvie and Thierry after a career in Amsterdam restaurants. With their two children in tow, they purchased 8ha in Lantigni (5. 5ha of which are under vine) and quickly set about conversion to certified organic farming. They also began planting fruit and nut trees to kickstart bringing biodiversity back into the vineyards. 'JouJou' comes from 50 year old vines of gamay from two vineyards: Les Monthieux
