Before that, the fruit went to other wineries and helped build George Hendry's reputation as one of Napa's great growers. Here it is blended with Block 22, a younger planting on the same bench land west of the town of Napa, and the result is Zinfandel that behaves less like a jammy crowd pleaser and more like a structured Napa
