Vintage Aluminum Beads, Kenya samburu Large 120mm long faceted bicone24" strand of satin finish cast aluminum beads made in Kenya. Made from old pots and pans which were melted down and made into beads in the 1950's. Fairly uniform cornerless cube shape, 6mm diameter square rectangles. Smooth polished satin finish. 88 beads on this strand. Last photo shows other small aluminum beads. Lightweight and very cool.
