Original British WWI Military Issue S.R.D. Imperial Gallon Rum Jug with Faded Maker’s Mark Flintlock Pistols The can is unit markedOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a classic trench item from WW1! These Rum Jugs were supplied to the troops on the Western Front to raise morale. Actually in cold weather alcohol is not the thing to take to keep warm but maybe it keep one's spirits up (pun intended). The bottom of the jug is stamped with a makers mark but it is very faded, the word Bottling and Whitting are visible but other than that we are stumped. Almost certainly a WWI
