Dense and Dark, Antique Memory Jug with Glass Stopper traditional German dress I believe this was made

I believe this was made as a tea canister and dates to the 4th quarter of the 19th century

super solid structurally and perfectly aged

and an old fold line at upper left

including I believe a ruled one--but there is no mark anywhere on this that I can find

Dense and Dark, Antique Memory Jug with Glass Stopper traditional German dress I believe this was madeA moody beauty of an antique memory jug, densely encrusted with all sorts of things, adding up to a really great surface and also a treasure hunt, and with glass stopper to boot. I don't often go for memory jugs, but I immediately jumped on this one. Lots of shells, nails and other hardware, part of a bone ruler, a porcelain doll head, a glass vial, all sorts of brass bits and bobs, buttons, and lots more. I especially like the miniature brass coffin
