I purchased this piece in a very badly tarnished state—in part because I could not resist the fabulous fox head

and some cracks in the chin area—but it’s quite stable and sturdy and if one tied a tied ribbons through the holes at the sides

wonderfully detailed hair

Carved of pine I believe and would guess mid 20th century or so
