Dating probably from the 1790's, this is a fine all BRASS Box lock Blunderbuss pistol in Flintlock. Features a slab wood butt with some SILVER wire inlay, Engraved Stands of Arms to the sides of the frame with a brass blunderbuss barrel measuring 5 1 2" in length and Overall 10 1 2". There is a steel ramrod mounted on the right side of the barrel and under the barrel there is a hinged Sprig Bayonet measuring 3 1 2".
