1861 $5 Virginia Treasury Note Cr.5 - Very Fine - First Issue Half Cents for both their impressive High5 in round scalloped counter above; oval female portrait below. 5 FIVE protector below; Ceres seated facing right behind large V; two panels with terms below. Nice specimen on strong paper. Three very fine pinholes overall. The first series notes are substantially more difficult to acquire than the second series (1862) notes.
