This is a very nice Civil War vintage U. S. Moore's Patent Firearms Co. No. 1 Derringer in . 41 rimfire caliber. These were made in Brooklyn, New York, as marked on the top of the single shot barrel: MOORE'S PATENT F. A. Co. BROOKLYN, N. Y. On the barrels underside is: PAT. FEB. 24 1863 along with serial number 2306. There is also assembly marking 67P on the barrel just beneath the chamber. The pistol is single shot,
