Small brass Regimental Helmet Plate/badge and graduated brass chin scales often indicating the use of a bugler

This is a genuine vintage World War Two German Police Officer's Degen made by Alcoso of Solingen. The sword has seen use and the nickel plating on the fitting has worn away revealing the original brass. The pommel cap has excellent serrations and no sign of improper removal. The "D" guard is in wonderful condition, ending in the the usual teardrop quillon. The ferrule is crisp, decorated with six standing oak leaves
