showing no sharpening of the edge or any use

It measures approximately 2 7/8"W x 3 1/2H x 1/2" when closed

but this was stamped over the original number

This is a wonderful condition M1938 dispatch map case with its original shoulder strap. Its nicely stamped U. S. on front and marked on the reverse: BOYT 42 This example retains a charting board on the interior. All inner compartments are intact with no damage, lift the dot snaps function perfectly. A really nice map case from the early war period in Khaki. Great shape overall, ready for further research and display.
