terrific patina to the copper

mounted to good weight backing paper (blue ribbon runs around the perimeter of the pith paper and is what holds the painting to the larger backing paper)

but I have not removed it from the frame

The hand colored copperplate engraving comes from George Shaw's renowned The Naturalist's Miscellany, with this plate dated 1794 but here it is the second
