The flag was signed by the Marines serving with the Machine Gun Platoon, Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment with a 1950 date. There are 8 visible names present and their assigned duties, making for a wonderful research opportunity. Following World War II, the "First of the Seventh" was sent to Camp Pendleton in California where it was
