This is a standard M1910 aluminum canteen made in 1918 and stamped on the reverse U. S. AGM Co. 1918. However, this is not just an ordinary canteen but a canvas for a very skilled (and bored) engraver (soldier) named George E. Page of Pittsburgh Kansas was assigned to Battery C. 130th Field Artillery Regiment, 35th Division. Apparently George had lots of down time in the trenches during the Great War. The canteen features
