flipping up to reveal a repeat of the monogram design on the interior

It is made of a cotton warp (revealed as the red fringe at either end) and wool weft

pinks and ochres

just really striking

With its great color scheme, nice weight, and quite elegant form, I think it makes for a pretty satisfying sculptural object, and all the better for the fact that it can be arranged in all sorts of different permutations. Just a great object to have around. I am not sure the maker as I have not been able to find
