Early 19th Century French Silk Ribbon (29 Inches) blue eyed which shows some staining: 9I found this gorgeous ribbon at Brimfield, digging through a pile it was in a tight plastic sleeve, where its length had been wrapped several times around a piece of card long ago. French, c. early 19th century I believe; there are examples of 18th century French tapestries with very similar floral compositions and patterns so perhaps even earlier.
