There a pencil-drawn number 6 at bottom and a 14 scribbled out just visible under the top edge of the frame

so it is much less apparent when looking down on it

I think it is quite an exquisite little thing

Good vintage condition

There is a hook attached to his collar on the back for hanging him up

Much Weathered Wooden Man with Hat mission-style bowl There a pencil-drawn number 6This guy sure seems to me as if he always existed as if he just washed up on the shore one day fully (or almost fully) formed. Hes definitely been around, I presume losing the lower half of one leg along the way. The wood has the appearance of driftwood, but Im really not sure if thats what he was made of or if hes just weathered many a storm. In any event, to my sensibility quite a wonderful, highly empathetic character, pretty impossible not to want
