Enveloped by a Cloud - Striking, Much Weathered Full Plate Tintype Portrait antique handprinted fan 1820s-30s American I believeThe degradation of this tintype completely makes it for me, such that this already soulful (and wonderfully freckled) looking young woman appears all the more so, like a saint or a spirit floating in between worlds. Striking and intense feeling with a terrific presence. Full plate tintype: 8 3 8" x 6". Clipped corners and degradation as evident, which I think is much of which makes her good.
