In the course of the war, there were several Panzerjger variants on this basis. But they were quite weakly armoured. In March 1943, Colonel General Guderian demanded the construction of an all round protected light tank. Lafette and chains had to be slightly widened for this new tank. The armament consisted of a modified variant of the 7. 5 cm PaK 39 L 48 and a
