In silver gilt, a multi coloured enamelled golden kite, superimposed on an eight point red enamel star with a total of 32 red enamelled rays, the kite is super imposed by a gilt eagle denoting fifth class, the reverse is plain with four large rivets, measures 46. 25mm (w) x 49. 90 mm (h inclusive of ball suspension), weighs 30. 1 grams (including ribbon), worn on original ribbon, small
