Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Northern British Columbia with mobilization headquarters at Comox under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed June 20, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel J. W. Warden with a strength of 37 officers and 968 other ranks.
