An Order of the Oak Crown in Gold, Knight’s Cross, c. 1900 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac King George V and Queen(Ordre de la Couronne de chne, Croix de Chevalier Orden der Eichenkrone, Ritterkreuz). Instituted 29 December 1841 by Grand Duke William II. (c. 1900 issue). Constructed of 18K Gold with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms, bearing double sided central green enameled medallion overlaid by gilt monograms of Grand Duke William II, each situated within circular Gold rings, the twelve oclock arm topped by a ball
