Germany, Heer. An Officer’s Dress Sabre Archive The document is dated to(Heer Sbel fr Offiziere). An extremely well preserved Heer Officers dress sabre, measuring 98 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features an 84. 5 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade with a gentle curvature, sharpened tip, unspoiled edges, and with fullers running approximately two thirds of the length of each side. It sits securely within a one piece gilded alloy hilt, with the seam covered by an intact brown leather
