Modus Bibendi Nero d'Avola 2016 Orange 30% MacabeuA vibrant nero d'avola from old vines planted at about 1000ft in clay and chalk soils. Organic and hand harvested fruit, fermented in stainless steel with wild yeast and then matured in chestnut barrels for 9 months. Fresh with aromas of red fruit, spice, and licorice. The palate is brimming with ripe red fruit, ripe plum, spice and a mineral note. Noticeable tannins but quite approachable.
