In silver, full size, rim impressed JOHN DONOVAN, 9TH LANCERS with original ribbon bearing DELHI, RELIEF OF LUCKNOW and LUCKNOW clasps, very dark patina, notable edge knocks, very fine condition. Footnote: John Donovan of the 9th Lancers is on the medal roll of the Indian Mutiny Medal, entitled to the Delhi and Lucknow clasps. Remarks state that he was sick, and therefore not at the Relief of Lucknow. A Labourer from
