Portugal, Kingdom. An Order Of Vila Viçosa, I Class Grand Cross Sash, C.1900 Auction Archive with illegible French makers mark(Ordem de Nossa Senhora da Conceio da Vila Viosa). Instituted in 1818. A period sash section, fabricated from silk, incorporating a decorative moir pattern, with a wide light blue field flanked by wide white stripes along the edges, a large bow tied rosette sewn in place near the bottom end for the placement of the badge, measuring 100 mm wide x 260 mm in length, intact stitching, exhibiting soiling, very fine. Accompanied by a medical doctor's paper
