Three piece construction, in silver gilt, measuring 42. 2 mm (w) x 45. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, scattered gilt wear evident on the obverse, very light contact overall, original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Cross was instituted by Pope Leo XIII on July 17, 1888, in memory of his golden jubilee in holy orders and was awarded to
