A large Kriegsmarine Schwarzweirote Reichskriegsflagge (black white red national war ensign), constructed of two panels of of weather hardened cotton twill, dyed into three equal horizontal panels of red, white and black, overlaid by double sided central dyed Iron Crosses executed in black and white, the hoist edge reinforced with a white cotton twill border featuring a hollow channel for the accommodation of a suspension
