1879-CC Morgan Dollar Capped-Die - Extremely Fine Scott #2631-2634 Melting and coining equipment inComing from the same collection as the 1799 Bust Dollar, this coin hasn't seen the light of day in the past 30 years. It has wonderfully original surfaces and sharp detail. The so called "Capped Die" variety is, of course, not a capped die at all. Rather, it is a sloppy large CC over small CC.
