The mad scientist mountain man Antony Tortul started La Sorga with the desire to reclaim the old, indigenous grape varieties of the south of France from the people who are happy to rip up old growth vines and replant them with Pinot Noir. Antony started out working as an assistant for various winemakers in Gaillac, Chateauneuf du Pape, and around the Languedoc before settling down in the south. He became part of a loose
