Three piece construction of gilded bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with white enameled arms, all joined through the quadrants by stylized rays, overlaid by a central white enameled medallion, surrounded by a circular oak leaf wreath, in turn overlaid by an NSDAP style German national eagle
