Portugal, Republic. A Military Order of Christ, Grand Officer Set Archive An extremely well-preserved Afrika cuff(Ordem Militar de Cristo). Instituted in 1319. Type II (1918 present). A lovely set, the neck badge consisting of a silver gilt cross in red and white enamels, obverse mirrors the reverse, measures 36. 5mm (w) x 57. 6 mm (h inclusive of integral ring), worn on replacement red neck ribbon, enamels intact, light gilt wear, in very fine condition. The Star, featuring smooth silver rays with angled tips, the obverse medallion features a white and red
