Constructed of dark slate grey painted magnetic steel, the obverse bearing a central raised Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika on a pebbled background, situated within an oval laurel leaf wreath joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the reverse with a loop and attachment claws emanating from a functional roller, the former retaining an original leather strap bearing a makers mark of H. AURICH,
