Allach was the only maker of the Julleuchter but as the war progressed

documenting the various awards issued by the United Kingdom

during which he was awarded the Iron Cross 2nd and 1st Class

the top and bottom edges trimmed in a yellow embroidered border

1946 and awarded to him on April 3rd

Constructed of field grey cotton twill, the obverse with a machine embroidered grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above a tri colour cockade, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in very fine condition.
